... could be leaving on TUE or WED instead of MON the 7th because the 8th of May is a national holiday in France and I don't know if things like the shuttle bus and residence offices will be open. I can't get a hold of my contact because it's a long weekend. :)

Also, it seems kind of corny but a family has put up a fairly detailed web site about their experiences in France. It will be a good resource - and there are a lot of great pictures of the area on there.

No word on where I'm going to find Internet access at the school. :-/

Paris and Nice are 6 hours ahead of Ottawa. So even though the whole trip takes 18 hours, 24 hours have actually passed. On the way back only 12 hours will pass assuming I take the same way home. I wonder when I'm going to sleep ..... :)
